Aviva Investors Manchester Art Fair has been established for over 10 years as the largest art fair outside London. Each year we carefully select exhibitors from established galleries, emerging galleries and artist-led spaces to showcase in Manchester for our growing audience of private and corporate art collectors.

The Fair

Aviva Investors Manchester Art Fair has been established for over 10 years as the largest art fair outside London. Each year we carefully select exhibitors from established galleries, emerging galleries and artist-led spaces to showcase in Manchester for our growing audience of private and corporate art collectors.
The fair was launched in 2008 in response to an Arts Council report which was looking for more art fairs and selling platforms for innovative contemporary art outside of London.

Over the past decade, it has developed into two distinctive fairs, the first, Manchester Art Fair, providing a platform for commercial galleries and individual artists and the second, The Manchester Contemporary, a platform for emerging and early career galleries and artist-led spaces producing critically engaged work.

Why Manchester?

Manchester has a flourishing cultural scene and is one of Europe‚Äôs most exciting cities. Aviva Investors Manchester Art Fair is perfectly located in a city centre venue and attracts an affluent art buying audience of local high net worth individuals from across the Greater Manchester and Cheshire. The 2018 fair saw 8,098 visitors across the weekend.
