Belle is a Shropshire born artist. Belle's work involves building up and scraping back layers of paint to explore colour and texture. The process finds and loses images and shapes as the layers are defined. She wants to draw the viewers eye in to see another world where nobody views the same thing. The problem is when to stop!
Belle's latest work is a new era of calmness following on from the chaos. The mood is softer and the colours are tonally more gentle.
Belle paints from her studio in Shropshire. Her paintings are in private collections throughout the UK and Ireland.
