Studio Wall

Stand: 125

Studio Wall is a continuing initiative, comprising three figurative painters from Birmingham ArtSpace (an independent studio group in Birmingham city centre) plus guest artists.

We are dedicated to promoting small paintings by artists who take inspiration from archive material, photographic and printed sources.

Studio Wall’s ethos is to unite like-minded practitioners from different stages in their career, to create thought provoking conversations between art works and their makers.

In selecting and hanging only small works, we want to create an intimate dynamic for viewers/clients where they can consider the heightened interrelationship of materials, themes and approaches that resonate when artworks are grouped together.
