Boodles

Quintessentially British, Boodles is one of the few remaining family-owned jewellers on London’s Bond Street. Founded in 1798, Boodles has grown from a county jeweller into a leading British luxury brand, with ten shops across the UK and Ireland. Standing for the very best in creative design, Boodles prides itself on using the highest quality diamonds and gemstones, and on its fusion of traditional craft skills with innovation. At once classic and contemporary – and always distinctive – Boodles is perhaps best known for Raindance; the iconic ring which was recognised by the V&A Museum and entered into its permanent collection. This year, Boodles is celebrating 25 years of Raindance, sparkling like raindrops in the sun.

A genuine commitment to traceability underpins Boodles’ sourcing of diamonds, gemstones, and precious metals. Its Peace of Mined collection features diamonds sourced directly from the Cullinan Mine in South Africa – famed for producing Cullinan I and II, worn by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at her Coronation. The collection also includes fully traceable diamonds from Canada’s KAO and Gahcho Kué Mines, cut and polished in Boodles’ London workshops. Equally pioneering, Boodles sources all its gold from a single origin – the Sabodala Mine in Senegal – ensuring every gram of gold is traceable through Single Mine Origin (SMO) certification.

Pink diamonds are the essence of Boodles: it was an Argyle pink that inspired our President, Nicholas Wainwright, to adopt the hue as Boodles’ brand colour. Renowned for their beauty and scarcity, these mesmerising gems have long been sought after by collectors and connoisseurs, with their value only increasing over time. Above all, pink diamonds embody the very essence of what Boodles aspires to be: unique, rare, and exceptional.

A passion and commitment to design and craftsmanship lie at the heart of the company, producing the effortless sense of grace, discretion, and fun that defines Boodles. Supporters of Boodles say you simply won’t find this elsewhere. Perhaps that is because Boodles recognises – and expresses in its byword – that behind each stone there’s “always a story.”
