Drawing inspiration from the shapes, patterns and behaviours in the natural world, David Cooke creates sculptures in a wide variety of styles and media in his workshop in Holmbridge, West Yorkshire.
David has been creating animal sculptures in ceramic since childhood, but he is constantly experimenting with new techniques, and materials, and is always ready to develop new skills such as bronze-casting, to make his ideas a reality.
David exhibits his work at galleries and art events throughout the UK and has won Overall Runner-Up in the prestigious Wildlife Artist of The Year competition at Mall Galleries in 2017.
