Jessica Dunn is a British artist based in Portugal.
Born in London to an acting family, Jessica developed an early passion for the visual arts and went on to study at Kingston University. Seeking a slower rhythm and a closer connection to nature, she later relocated to the Algarve, where the distinctive light and landscape continue to inspire her work. From her studio in the hills of Boliqueime, she works primarily in oils and gold leaf to create abstract impressions of the surrounding land, sea, and sky.

Her paintings are deeply rooted in the natural beauty of the Algarve, in the shifting colours, heat luminosity. Working intuitively, she builds layers of colour adding gold leaf to transform observation into abstraction.
Jessica exhibits regularly in Portugal and the UK, including with The Sanctuary Gallery, Bobcat Gallery, Lorimer Gallery and Tavira d’Artes, The Other Art Fair (2023 - 2026), Discerning Eye 2025.
She is also a member of ArtCan and the Quinta Art Collective. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions and is held in private and public collections, including museum collections in Portugal.
