About the Artist: Jim is an award winning expressionist painter of landscape and city scenes. His work is known for the use of vibrant colour to convey an emotional reaction to a landscape or a wet city street. Richly textural and arresting colour characterises his work.

Exhibitions and Awards: Jim's work is shown in galleries in both Scotland and the South of England. He exhibits in art fairs from Edinburgh to Alexandra Palace in London. This is his sixth appearance at the Manchester Art Fair. He has won awards at annual exhibitions of the National Society of Painters, Engravers and Sculptors for best work in show.

Current Work: At the Manchester Art Fair this year Jim will be showing new work completed over the last twelve months.
