Lorraine is a Surrey based abstract ‘returning’ artist called lorribethdesigns (or LB for short) who uses acrylic, mixed media and macro photography to create vibrant, textured pieces inspired by flowers, called ‘Journeys’
Passionate about the psychology of colour, human behaviour, relationships and emotions, her paintings evoke feelings of calm with a hint of curiosity.
LB studied Art & design, Graphic design and photography many moons ago in Kingston when universities were polytechnics :) She also spent 12 years in the Middle East, where her love for interior design and abstract macro photography was rekindled after a long creative absence. Bahrain was also the place where LB became a Life coach, helping young students and families through their issues. For the past 12 years here in the UK, Lorraine as been an EFT practitioner and relationship coach (evolveandaspire.com)
Lorraine also works full time in a local college as Head of Student Wellbeing, guiding young adults aged 16-19 through academic and mental health struggles and with the current Mental Health crisis as it is, especially with young people, Lorraine's time to paint is now precious. Commisions are still, however, very welcome.
