Nicola Briggs – Contemporary Landscapes & Ceramics

Nicola Briggs is a contemporary landscape artist based in Manchester, creating atmospheric semi-abstract paintings and statement porcelain ceramics. Her work explores the subtleties of light, texture and seasonal change, capturing nature’s quiet transitions through layered surfaces and refined tonal palettes.

Nicola's “Liminal” series, created for the 2025 Manchester Art Fair, comprises large-scale contemporary landscape paintings and sculptural ceramic pieces that investigate moments of transformation within the natural world.
