The Point Paper Art Company celebrates Art from Textile history. Drawing from their archives from numerous textile manufacturers in the North of England and selected work from French and German jacquard furnishing fabric producres they have created a range of original artwork once used in the process of creating woven pattern in fabrics and a limited edition of technical jacquard point papers once read to cut the perforated loom cards the jacquard machine needed to form the patterns in warp and weft threads. A marvellous technical data artform from the days before digital and CAD.
