Vanessa Caroli
About the Artist
Vanessa Caroli is a Venezuelan-born, UK-based abstract artist known for her expressive, textured acrylic paintings that explore emotion, intuition, and the beauty found in simplicity. Entirely self-taught, she embraces freedom and spontaneity in her creative process, allowing each piece to evolve organically through layers of colour, mark-making, and texture.
Working primarily with acrylics on canvas, Vanessa uses palette knives, markers, and unconventional tools to build depth and movement within her compositions. Her art radiates energy and emotion, inviting viewers to connect with their own feelings through colour, rhythm, and form. Each work is an expression of discovery — raw, joyful, and deeply human.
Artist Statement
“My work is an exploration of emotion and freedom. I paint intuitively, creating layers of texture and colour that reflect moments of joy, calm, and spontaneity. Guided by curiosity rather than control, I let each piece unfold naturally until it feels complete. My goal is simple — to evoke beauty, positivity, and connection through abstract expression.”
