I had the idea of a Barbies still life after visiting the Design Museum show. After collecting many many Barbies, parcels from vinted and ebay arrived, and some were bought from girls selling their toys from tabletops outside houses. i then gave the Barbies to my neighbours daughter to 'style'. Once back they were ready to paint. I started this in february,  the background has changed more times than i care to admit. i then gave them a break as deadlines got in the way. revisiting the painting in the autumn, she was then finished ready for the fair and making into prints. This is now being made into a limited edition of 40 prints in two  sizes 70x70 and 40x40cm. This will be shown at Manchester Art fair.
