Canadian contemporary artist Greg Deda is attracting attention following two significant public auction results, providing notable reference points for his developing secondary market.

Represented by London-based rare and fine art brokerage Aurum Fox, the artist’s work has appeared at established British auction houses, including Tate Ward and Lyon & Turnbull.

A £50,000 Result at Tate Ward

On 18 September 2025, Deda’s Abstract Awakening II (2025), a unique mixed-media painting measuring 152.5 × 122 cm, sold for £50,000, including buyer’s premium, at Tate Ward’s Urban & Contemporary Art auction.

The artwork carried a presale estimate of £40,000–£60,000 and represented a notable public auction milestone.

Further Success at Lyon & Turnbull

On 12 August 2026, Deda’s Afternoon Tea (2012), an oil-on-canvas work measuring 66 × 66 cm, achieved £35,480, including buyer’s premium, at Lyon & Turnbull.

The painting had been estimated at £2,000–£3,000 before the sale, making the final result particularly noteworthy.

These independently recorded auction sales provide collectors with valuable information when examining Deda’s work and wider artistic development. As with all art markets, individual auction results do not guarantee future values.
