In this exhibition, Decorum, a group of mixed media artists, explore fashion as both personal narrative and cultural language. Through textiles, paint, sculpture, mixed media, print, clay and found objects, the works unravel the threads between identity, memory, and material. Fashion becomes more than clothing—it is code, costume, armour, and art. This collective expression challenges norms, reimagines beauty, and celebrates the transformative power of style.

Formed in 2017 in the Northwest of England, Decorum brings together a dynamic group of mixed media artists united by a commitment to experimentation, collaboration, and pushing the boundaries of material and meaning. Rooted in a region known for its rich industrial heritage and vibrant cultural landscape, they draw inspiration from their surroundings—urban textures, shifting identities, and the interplay between tradition and innovation.
