
Beth Hughes
Beth Hughes is an independent curator and researcher based between London and Manchester. She is Curator and Creative Producer for Lubaina Himid Projects and writes on contemporary art and working-class culture. Her research explores how class is represented within publicly funded art collections in the UK, and she leads the Working Class British Art Network.
Previously, Beth was Curator at the Arts Council Collection and Visual Arts Curator at Salisbury Cathedral. Her practice centres on the social value of public art collections, collaboration, and widening access across the contemporary art sector.
