"It all began as a long-distance relationship.

We met as students one chilly weekend in the spring. Dagny was thinking of leaving to the other side of the World, she was gonna dive at the Great Barrier Reef, study the light Down Under. As Dagny had to leave somewhere, instead of going to the Other Side of the Globe, she went Over the Pond. Charlie visited Dagny six times, falling in love while taking care of her in that bloody mouldy house of hers. Fast-forward we have each other closer than two people sharing an outdoor toilet with two seats. In this toilet we make a paper, actually this toilet has three seats, the third seat is for Tor Simen Ulstein. 

Later along the way we met Rasmus Vasli, our eminent gallerist in Oslo, happily representing the both of us. Rasmus really is one of the happy gallerists. Charlie has always been a bit darker than Dagny, maybe because he works in the dark. Both of our practices are photography based and we sure know how to shoot sticks and branches from Dag Alveng, which we both have assisted and made the famous baryta prints. 2022 was the year we got married and even commenced shooting together. Working as a duo we tell each other stories, almost like the one written here. "
