John is a contemporary English painter whose uplifting work explores still life, landscape and seascape through colour, composition, pattern and texture. Trained in architecture, he brings a sophisticated understanding of structure and balance to his paintings. He works primarily in acrylic on hard panels, building energetic layers with charcoal, crayons, oil pastel and other materials. John is represented by galleries in the UK and internationally.
