Liam Hopkins
Liam Hopkins is a Manchester-based artist and designer and the founder of LAZERIAN, the multidisciplinary creative practice celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026. Working across sculpture, public art, interiors and bespoke furniture, he combines hands-on craftsmanship with digital technology to explore the possibilities of materials, often transforming overlooked or discarded resources into ambitious works.
From his workshop in a former hat factory in Denton, Liam has grown LAZERIAN into an internationally active practice, creating work for public spaces, cultural organisations and global brands. Projects include Recover E, a full-scale racing car made from electronic waste for Envision Racing, and Atmospheric Reflections of the North, a major installation for Manchester Airport’s Terminal 2 that incorporates glass from the airport’s historic chandeliers.
