Rachel Goodyear
Rachel Goodyear (b. 1978, Lancashire, UK) lives and works in Manchester and Salford with a practice that specialises in Drawing and is a long term active studio member of Islington Mill. Goodyear exhibits nationally and internationally with works held in a number of collections worldwide.
Solo exhibitions include Stirrings, The Grundy Art Gallery and Salford Museum and Art Gallery; Catching Sight, The New Art Gallery Walsall ; Approaching the Surface, Pippy Houldsworth Gallery, London; Restless Guests, The Drawing Center, New York; and Modifications of the Host, Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Goodyear’s work features in Vitamin D3: Today's Best in Contemporary Drawing, published by Phaidon 2021.
