Join us for an inspiring talk led by Jessica Bennett, independent curator and director of Paradise Works — a vibrant artist-led studio hub founded by Lucy Harvey and Hilary Jack in 2017, just across the ring road in Salford. Paradise Works is the closest studio hub to Manchester city centre, offering 40+ artists affordable studios, scholarship programmes and two dynamic gallery spaces for emerging and established artists.

This event is a unique opportunity to explore the critical role of affordable studio spaces in fostering creativity and supporting local artists. We’ll discuss how placing artworkers at the heart of our communities enriches society and how supporting initiatives like Paradise Works helps sustain the cultural fabric of our city.
