Works from the series As If We Were Still Lovers explores the relationship between memory, image production and technological change. Drawing on remembered scenes of girls dancing in discos during the early 1980s, the series transforms recollection into physical objects through writing, artificial intelligence, photography and traditional craftsmanship. Existing between recollection and invention, each work acknowledges that memory is never fixed, but continually remade through the technologies available to us.
