Rise is a new series of preserved seed drawings by Beverley Duckworth, acting as archives of Duckworth's living work and revealing roots that have traced their own, unexpected paths. In this work, Duckworth offers a materially rich exploration of seeds as a disruptive force. Rooted in the artist's background as a social and environmental justice campaigner, these preserved archives reflect on systems in flux, ecological resistance and quiet reclamation.
