Hand-printed photographic lith print made from photographs of a gay sauna in Yorkshire following its destruction by fire. Developed using expired photographic paper and alternative darkroom processes, the work resists the clarity and authority often associated with documentary photography. It was originally exhibited in Ruin Me at Vessel Gallery, York St John University, in 2024, as part of an ongoing investigation into queer spaces, archival absence and the limits of what photographs can preserve or disclose.
