This piece was developed as part of a series that focused on elevated views, captured from the tops of multi-storey car parks. These panoramic perspectives investigate architectural elements through shifting viewpoints, emphasising geometric composition reduced to simplified abstract forms. In her practice Sarah Feinmann is drawn to the overlooked and  the mundane, which attracted her to this street scene and the curve of the roof that dominates the painting. She works fluidly between painting and collage, layering collaged media to build rich textural qualities and create a dialogue between material and mark.
