Fran Rowse is an award-winning artist and curator based in Cornwall. Working across photography, curation, installation, mixed media, and archives, she offers a window into the lives and dreams of the women and girls of Cornwall, capturing moments of surreal magic refashioned in the homes, streets, and the rich landscapes of the South West.

Fran’s work is deeply informed by her experience as a fisherwoman and as a woman from a working-class, marginalised background. She uses her practice to bridge the gap between isolated rural life and the art world, creating projects that are accessible, socially engaged, and rooted in community storytelling.
