The Watcher  2025 bronze, wood, 85 x 24 x 15cm

The current works explore the idea of capturing the fleeting potential and liquidity of spontaneity, transforming it into a semi-formed physical object. These 'figures' are intentionally vague, inviting the viewer to 'complete' them through their own perception. This concept plays on the fact that 80% of our visual experience is rooted in memory, so the subtle hints of features within the work prompt the viewer to fill in the gaps, creating a more fully realised image than what is physically present.
