GRACE CLIFFORD: (lives and works Sheffield). Made during WORK/LEISURE residency with Abingdon Studios, she became familiar with William Blake’s work. This informed pre-existing interests in the connections between labour and religion, desire and suffering. Clifford became stuck on one particular Blake, and took a screenshot from a Little T video that felt matched colourwise with the Blake. The lenticular is a nod to Blackpool and the countless shops visited in her time on the residency. The artist has found, since sharing this work, not many people know who both Little T and William Blake are, which humours the artist when trying to tell people it's the same thing.
