Her work focuses on temporary structures in empty and flooded landscapes, on a small or miniature scale, which act as metaphors for our own transience and  experience of being in the world. Her shrine paintings depict makeshift constructions in dark woodlands which speak of rituals of mourning and memorial in the landscape.
