Preferred Hotel Partner

Preferred Hotel Partner

We are delighted to confirm a partnership with The Principal Hotel in Manchester.

With its clock tower and striking Victorian architecture, The Principal Manchester is an unmistakable landmark in the city's skyline. A magnificent, terracotta Grade II listed building, the hotel has a history dating back to 1890, when it first opened as The Refuge Assurance Company headquarters. Opposite Oxford Road Station and just a 10-minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly, The Principal Manchester is perfectly placed for business travel and weekend getaways, and is close to many of the city’s attractions.

This is the 3rd year that Manchester Art Fair has partnered with The Principal Hotel.

In 2018, world renowned street artist Ben Eine has created his first ever mural in Manchester on the wall of the Refuge in the Principal Hotel, spearheaded by the organisers of Aviva Investors Manchester Art Fair and art consultant Leon Martyn. Working with the team at The Refuge, Ben chose ‘Hell Is A City’ to paint on the interior wall.
