The Manchester Contemporary

Bringing leading international and UK contemporary art to Manchester

All art fair visitors are encouraged to take the time to visit The Manchester Contemporary which sits alongside Aviva Investors Manchester Art Fair . Free entry is included in all tickets.

Now in its tenth year, The Manchester Contemporary takes a uniquely artist-focused approach, inviting the most exciting international and UK galleries to participate. With careful selection and bold curatorial vision, it showcases the strength of the UK’s regional artists and galleries alongside key international presentations that can only be seen in Manchester.

The 2018 Manchester Contemporary is curated by Nathaniel Pitt, the founder of respected gallery Division of Labour. He oversees the gallery roster as well as advising on the Collector Development Program and strategic cultural partnerships, further strengthening the fair’s relationships with collectors, galleries, and institutions in the UK and worldwide.
