Manchester Art Fair Announces New Four-Day Edition as 2026 Tickets Go On Sale
Tickets for Manchester Art Fair are now on sale, as one of the UK’s largest and most significant art fairs expands to four days, marking its biggest edition to date.
Returning to Manchester Central from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November, the fair will bring together more than 600 artists and 180 exhibitors for an exceptional showcase of modern and contemporary art. Spanning world-renowned names and some of the most exciting emerging creative talent, thousands of works will be available to discover and buy.
A driving force in the Northern art market for almost two decades, Manchester Art Fair has built a national reputation for bringing leading galleries and artists together with a discerning audience that spans some of the country’s most significant collectors and art buyers, alongside those discovering and buying art for the first time.
Attracting more than 10,000 visitors annually, the fair has become a major fixture in the UK cultural calendar, drawing collectors and art enthusiasts from across the country and reinforcing Manchester’s position as a leading destination for culture and the arts.
Responding to continued demand, the new four-day format will give visitors more time to discover, experience and buy art, complemented by an enhanced cultural and lifestyle programme.
In a significant move, the fair’s highly anticipated Preview Night will move to Thursday evening, opening an expanded programme of art, talks, workshops and new experiences across the four days.
Leading the line-up of new features are Manchester Art Fair’s Art Masterclasses, created for developing artists looking to advance their creative practice through expert-led, in-depth tuition from Bullclough Art School. Taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the two-hour sessions will offer a more immersive opportunity to learn and develop, with places priced at £110 per person.
Further enhancing the fair’s lifestyle experience, this year Manchester Art Fair will also host a new programme of VIP lunches for serious art buyers and collectors. Interested parties can apply online at www.manchesterartfair.co.uk/vip-buyers-programme.
As the fair’s Official Hotel Partner, Mollie’s Manchester will also offer a 15% preferential rate across the event weekend, providing the opportunity to extend the Manchester Art Fair experience with an overnight stay.
The new experiences will sit alongside a rich programme of artist talks, panel discussions, Q&As, live demonstrations and hands-on creative workshops, offering opportunities to hear directly from leading artists, critics and curators and explore different creative practices.
A dedicated Collector Programme will also offer guided tours, social events and expert introductions, helping established and newer buyers discover new work and connect with artists, galleries and fellow collectors. The acclaimed Art Talk programme will return with another notable line-up of artists, cultural figures and commentators, to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Sophie Helm, Director at Manchester Art Fair, said: “Manchester Art Fair has always been driven by a belief that exceptional art should be exciting to discover, rewarding to collect and accessible to everyone - whether you are an established collector or considering your first purchase.
“The fair has grown significantly, both in scale and in the breadth of people it attracts, and the move to four days is a natural progression. It gives our galleries and artists an even stronger platform, while creating more time for visitors to discover work, meet the people behind it and enjoy everything the fair has to offer.
“From our new Art Masterclasses and programme of VIP lunches to the return of Art Talk and our wider workshop programme, we want Manchester Art Fair to be somewhere people come not simply to see and buy exceptional art, but to spend time, be inspired and enjoy being part of it.”
Manchester Art Fair also features The Manchester Contemporary, presenting a carefully curated selection of independent galleries and artist-led spaces from across the UK and internationally, providing an important platform for emerging artists and an opportunity for collectors and curators to discover new talent. The Manchester Contemporary is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
The 2026 edition follows a record year for Manchester Art Fair, which welcomed more than 10,300 visitors in 2025, with almost £1 million of art sold.
Supported by leading names including Porsche, Boodles, OBI, San Carlo, Co-Op Live, and Napthens among others*, Manchester Art Fair occupies a distinctive position at the intersection of art, culture and contemporary lifestyle, while retaining the welcoming and accessible approach that has characterised the fair throughout its history.
Manchester Art Fair takes place at Manchester Central from November 19 – 22. Tickets are available now at manchesterartfair.co.uk and priced at £15 for a day ticket with return entry, or £25 for a preview night ticket, including access throughout the weekend. A booking fee applies.
